Hello! My name is Joanne and I'm a neurodivergent Asian American occupational therapist. As the proud founder of Pretty Rad Therapy, I bring a wealth of experience I’ve cultivated over many years in the healthcare setting. My journey began over 20 years ago as a dedicated military medic and I've since transitioned into the role of an occupational therapist.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of serving in diverse environments including hospitals, behavioral health facilities, schools, and home health. Each experience has deepened my appreciation for the unique backgrounds and requirements of the individuals I've had the pleasure of working with.
In addition to my healthcare background, I also have a degree in education and taught in the public school system for a few years. I continue to be passionate about education and I'm thrilled to merge my expertise in both careers to provide you with comprehensive support tailored to your needs. Whether it's aiding in your journey toward wellness or helping you overcome obstacles, I'm committed to assisting you in living your best life. 😊
